Washing of indoor and outdoor coils
Check wiring for looseness or corrosion (burnt spots) as well as thermostat's functioning
Checking the olhms on contactors and relays in system; as well as for pivoted spots
Checking on the capacitance of all capacitors that are in the system
Checking of the amp draw on all motors and the compressor in system
Checking Freon level in system (by checking superheat and subcooling) as well as temp. drop
Checking of the ductwork throughout the system, as well as line sets
Checking drain lines and adding of drain tabs to prevent future drain blockage
Checking to make sure that filter has been changed accordingly and airflow is adequate enough
This side is done the same as regular A/C system except there is a reversing valve that is now involved with the system that will be checked, as well as the control (defrost board on the system).
All things are checked for the winter months, just as summer months
System is not washed at this time unless coils are preventing airflow for change of Freon state
Checking of the defrost board, defrost t-stat, and checking complete defrost operation.
Olming out the heat strips
Checking of Freon levels, as well as temperature rise
Cleaning of burners in the system, as well as gas valves for debrid
Checking the capacitance of capacitor for inducer motor
Checking of flame igniter and sensor, as well as gas pressure and burning of flames
Checking of heat exchanger for cracks
A lot of things are still checked in the same manner as it is done in the A/C and heat mode in the system
